Professor Dr. Necate Baykoç, all the works, programs, products belonging to the Talents – Incorporation Institute and Center, trademarked by Turkish Patent Institute, In addition to their superior ability diagnosis and diagnosis applications for children who are advanced by social, emotional, physical and mental development evaluations by specialists, they are also trained for their specialties such as Gifted and Talented Winter Special Group Exercises, Superior Skills Chess Special Group Exercises, Skills Picture – Sculpture Special Group Study programs are being developed and implemented. In addition to offering all these opportunities for gifted children, the institution offers family education, educator training, scientific research, publications and project services related to the subject, providing a holistic service in the field of gifted children and education by operating with different sub-units.

Many projects, including the first Turkey European Union project, have been developed about gifted children and projects are being carried out as a coordinating institution. Some of the projects carried out are:
• The project “Development and Evaluation of Diagnostic Methods, Training Programs and Family Counseling of Highly Talented Children in Advanced Stage” was carried out in 2005 in the scope of the European Union Leonardo Da Vinci Exchange Program with the Glasgow University Business Association in England and in Scotland.

• In 2007, the project “Diagnosis and Training Programs for Highly Talented Children” was conducted in the United Kingdom under the Leonardo Da Vinci Exchange Program of the European Union with the Warwick University Business Association.

This project is a project aimed at developing the cooperation between the sectors (Universities, Ministry of National Education, NGOs, research centers, professional associations, industrial chambers of commerce, art institutions, small-medium and large businesses, etc.), to be strengthened and enriched by the European dimension. In the project;

Gifted children in infancy, preschool and primary education,
• Examination of diagnostic methods, development in Turkey according to applicability,
• Examination of educational programs developed for the children from the beginning of the school year and development of them in a way that is applicable to Turkish conditions,
• It is aimed to examine the educational programs of the families of the children especially for their early education and orientation, and to ensure their applicability in Turkey.

The project was hosted by the Scottish Network for Able Pupils (SNAP-Scottish Institute of Education for Students with High Skills) on 08.08.2005 – 05.09.2005, in order to monitor and exchange information on the activities and applications of the two universities, and Glasgow University and GIFT Ltd. in cooperation with the institution; 23 07.2006 – 20.08.2006, it was planned and implemented to cooperate with WARWICK University – NAGTY (National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth) and OTHERWISE (a company operating in the field of high talent in the UK).

At the end of the project, the data related to the subject are collected by the University, T.C. The Ministry of National Education and the institutions that are dealing with the education of the gifted children have been used to develop, develop and spread to the whole country and these studies are still going on.

• In 2006, the Toy Security Project, European Union Leonardo Da Vinci Vocational Training Program was carried out in cooperation with Turkey, Italy and Portugal.

Scientific Meeting Participation and Regulation Services

By participating in National and International Scientific Congresses, Conferences, workshops, seminars and meetings about gifted children, gifted children in Turkey are sharing about importance, needs, problems and solution proposal.

Some of the meetings and conventions attended are:
• Our founder, Prof. Dr. Necate Baykoç was invited to present the work done in Turkey to the “International Support of European Talents” conference organized by the project of creating a European talent map in the project initiated in Budapest / Hungary to create a European talent network. Konferansta presented the papers about the studies that were made as the first institution that has been working in the field of gifted talent in Turkey with the studies of gifted children in Turkey and the work done in this area.

In 2007, Prof. Dr. Necate Baykoç organized the “Little Gifted Workshop” in order to evaluate the problems and solutions proposed by the studies on the development and education of the gifted children due to the 5th year of establishment of the NB Gifted Talent Centers established for the first time in Turkey. The workshop organized by the Hacettepe University Congress Center on April 27-28, 2012, where all the academicians, trainers, teachers, parents and gifted children came together and organized as panels for each group, attracted attention by bringing together all relevant groups .

   

Institute General Service Structure
NB Higher Talents and Inclusion Institute Dr. Founded in 2012 by Necate Baykoç, based on the work of the NB Center for Child and Young Development and the NB Center for Gifted Talents and Inclusion, founded in 2007 in Ankara on the development and training of gifted children, opened in Istanbul in 2011.
