Special Talent Weekend Special Group Works

It was the first time in Turkey that a group of 4 to 10 people, composed of talented individuals, Dr. Within the scope of the NB Interest Talent Areas Development Program initiated by Necate Baykoç, weekly, winter vacation and summer vacation group programs are being conducted.

Program content, methods, techniques and methods to be applied. Dr. Necate Baykoç has been prepared and developed by a team of experts who have completed in-service trainings under the coordination of Baykoç. In the original group studies, programs that are composed of topics related to mathematics, science, music, drama, natural sciences and interdisciplinary fields are applied.

The program is implemented in special groups consisting of a maximum of 10 children, working as a laboratory application center. It is ensured that children whose individual evaluation is taken and whose talent is recognized are observed within the group, they can find out the detailed information about the topics in a pleasant way by doing, living, playing and playing and sharing their own talents and genius projects.

2.1.2. Exclusive Talent Chess Special Group Studies

As a result of the individual evaluations made, children who have a chess orientation or potential among children whose areas of interest and ability are identified are directed to special groups of chess.

Special group work consisting of children from 3 to 15 years of age with activities based on the principle of learning by supporting the curriculum programs and enjoying them in accordance with the developmental levels of the children is carried out by a trainer specialized in the area of ​​chess training at a desired level and a comprehensive program is implemented with applications supporting the social development of children.

2.1.3. Superior Skills Picture-Sculpture Special Group Works

As a result of the individual evaluations made, the children whose orientation or potentiality is determined among the children whose areas of interest and ability are determined are directed to special groups of painting and sculpture.

Special group work, consisting of children aged 3-15 years, who work on the principle of learning by supporting the curriculum programs and enjoying them in accordance with the developmental levels of the children, is provided with artistic sculpture trainings at the desired level by specialist trainers and a comprehensive program is carried out with applications supporting the social development of children.

NB For Superior and Special Talented Children

NB Interest and Talent Areas Development Program, Professor Dr. Necate Baykoç Dönmez established in 1993 during the studies of the University in accordance with the Turkish National Education System and the social and economic conditions of Turkey, and the General Director of the Ministry of Education and the General Directorate of Education in 1992-95 period and gave the name, It is based on the practice model of Art Centers. The program is unique to Turkey and includes in-class and out-of-class grouping, enrichment and acceleration.

It is a program that has been applied to 4 different Private Elementary Schools since 2005 and which is still being implemented, with the possibility to be applied in preschool, primary and secondary schools. The program has been applied to 6 elementary class, 8 first year classes between 2005-2007. In 2008-2009 period, two private elementary schools; 4 kindergarten, 6 first grade, 5 second grade, 4 third grade, 1 fourth and 1 fifth grade and some of the evaluation studies are completed. Dissemination efforts are continuing in different primary schools.
